Wrapped in Old Newspaper-Part 5: Frozen in Place?

I drew this for the Long Island Voice back in 1998. It was for an article about how the Islanders hockey team were "frozen in place" at the Nassau Coliseum. Looks like they're finally moving. And to Brooklyn's Barclay Center, no less.

Decisions, decisions...

Here's a color sketch I did at the end of last month regarding the two of the season's impending events.
I've since seen another artist's take on a pumpkin with the party mascots carved into it, so I've kind of lost my enthusiasm for doing a fully rendered version. If I rally in the time remaining, I'll post that, too.

Unliving Dolls


Just in time for Halloween, I unearthed these old sketches for Halloween-themed paper dolls. As I recall, they were going to be part of a seasonal fashion spread for one of the many free weekly newspapers that have long since joined the choir invisible.
